Rug pull
When creators take the money or crash the price and disappear.
A rug pull can happen in several ways: removing the liquidity, selling a very large holding all at once, or creating new tokens and selling them. The result is that buyers are left holding something worth almost nothing.
Why it matters
Checking the authorities, the biggest holders and the liquidity does not catch every rug, but it removes many obvious ones.
