Liquidity pool

A pot of two tokens that lets people trade on a DEX.

Instead of matching buyers and sellers, many DEXs use a pool that holds two tokens, for example SOL and a memecoin. The price is set by the ratio between them. People who add tokens to the pool are called liquidity providers.

Why it matters

Find out who owns the pool. If the creator can remove it, the price can collapse in one move.
