Mint authority
The permission to create more of a token.
If a token still has an active mint authority, whoever controls it can create new tokens at any time. That increases the supply and can push the price down. If the authority is disabled, the supply is fixed.
Why it matters
An active mint authority is a red flag for most memecoins. Disabled is what you want to see.
